This is super easy, super yummy and perfect to try and keep children entertained. For a few minutes at least. Very few ingredients, quick and no baking required. All you need is large glass bowl that will fit everything in, a saucepan and a 24cm x 24cm tin
Ingredients. Makes 16 Squares
200g Milk Chocolate (use dark for a more grown up version)
50g Butter
4tbsp Golden Syrup
150g Rice Crispies
Chocolate Eggs to decorate
Method
1. Break the Chocolate into a glass bowl that is placed over a pan of simmering water, make sure the water and bowl don't touch. Stir until melted and allow to cool to slightly
2. Stir through the butter and golden syrup until fully melted and combined. Add the rice crispies and coat fully in the chocolate. You will get there, keep going!
3. Pour the mixture into the prepared tin - I used a 24cm x 24cm tin lined with baking paper - push into the corners and pack down, flatten the top
4. Pop in the fridge for a couple of hours until fully set
5. Then simply slice into 16 squares. How easy was that?
6. Decorate however, and with whatever you like!
