An absolute favourite in my house, and with anyone I have ever given it to. Did I mention I am modest? It is delicious and so versatile as well as being super easy to make and is a great gift to spread some love.
I nabbed the recipe from Nigella and how do you improve on perfection?
Ingredients
150g Fresh Red Chilli Peppers, deseeded
150g Red Peppers, deseeded
1kg Jam Sugar
600ml Cider Vinegar
Method
1. Put the chillies and peppers into your food pressor and blitz, leaving a few bigger bits as its good to have some variety in life.
2. Put the sugar and vinegar into your jam pan and add the chilli mixture
3. Bring to the boil and boil hard for 15 minutes
4. Take off the heat and allow to cool for 40 minutes then add to sterilised jars
5. The flecks of pepper with disperse and settle as the jam cools
6. Enjoy!
